Description of Imidacloprid TC
Appearance: Colorless crystal.
Melting Point: 143-145º C.
Vapour Pressure 0.4 uPa at 25º C.
Stability: Soluble in water is 0.51g/1L, Miscible in n-hexane, dichloromethane, 2-propanol.
Toxicity: Oral LD50 (Rat): 223 mg/kg. Dermal LD50 (Rat) >5, 000 mg/kg.
Specification: Imidacloprid 95%TC, 25%, 70%WP, 70%WDG, 20%EC, 20%SL, 25%WP.
Uses: Imidacloprid is a used on Soil, seed, or foliar treatment in cereal, cotton, fruit, maize, potatoes, rice, sugar beets, turf, and vegetables. Highly systemic, particularly from seed or soil treatment. Imidacloprid Controls sucking insects including aphids, Colorado potato beetles, ricehoppers, thrips, whiteflies, and turf and soil insects.

Product Characteristics

Mode of Action: A neonicotinoid ultra-high efficiency insecticide that acts on insect nicotinic acetylcholinesterase receptors to interfere with nervous system signal transmission

Action Mode: Has contact, stomach poisoning and systemic triple effects

Duration of Efficacy: More than 15 days, up to 25 days at maximum

Features: Broad-spectrum, high-efficiency, low-toxicity, low-residue, pests are not easy to develop resistance, and safe to humans, animals and natural enemies

Application Methods

1. Foliar Spraying

Dilution Ratio: Generally 2000-3000 times (100g of pesticide mixed with 200-300kg of water)

Application Time: At the early stage of pest occurrence or when pest population starts to increase rapidly

Dosage Reference:

Routine Spraying: Use 6-16g of 25% WP per mu (adjust according to pest species and damage degree)

Wheat Ear Aphids: 75g/hm² (during occurrence period) or 150g/hm² (during prevention period)

2. Seed Treatment

Wheat/Cotton Seed Dressing: Use 15g of 25% WP per kilogram of seeds

3. Precautions

Secondary Dilution Method: First mix the pesticide with a small amount of water to make a paste, then add water to the required concentration

Uniform Spraying: Focus on spraying the back of leaves and tender shoots (where pests gather)

Safety Interval: 7 days for vegetables, 14 days for fruit trees, 21 days for rice (follow the label instructions for details)

1. Personal Protection: Wear protective clothing, gloves and masks during application to avoid skin contact and inhalation through mouth and nose

Do not mix with alkaline pesticides

Do not use near ponds, rivers and other water bodies

1.2. Storage: Store in a cool and dry place, away from children, food and feed

1.3. Poisoning First Aid: In case of accidental ingestion, go to the hospital immediately with the product label. There is no specific antidote, and symptomatic treatment is required
